Have a new one started for the Selfbow Challange at the Tennesee classic in a few weeks. Can only start with a floor tillered stave. Fun event.
This one won in 2019

Very nice bow. I like your bows, and your design for the handle.

Today is last day of the Mecca of Selfbows the 24 Tennessee Classic. Weather was purrfect! Lots of bow making and flint knapping and shooting.

Enjoy

Think there were several thousand people there over the course of the four days. The bow I built for the Selfbow challenge took the top honors in the shoot.

Its not the Arrow they say but rather the Indian. The bow shot well indeed.

Jim Davis makes them in USA. really nice fella. You can buy them from 3riversarchery.com. Jim just lives up the way from me.
Reparrows are great I use them all the time.

Looks like a nice event, especially the pile of bowstaves and first of all the possibility of getting in contact with others.
Up the way means probably... 100-200 miles? ;D

No Jim lives 50k maybe away from me. Cant shoot aluminum in or on arrow shafts in selfbow in competition . I have footed wood arrows with aluminum shafts and have straightened wood arrows by putting htem inside a fat aluminum arrow and heating it up a bit. Works well.

Wow, there are really nice bows on your pictures. On the last photo, is only the yellow one from you?
